Josie is originally from Arizona, where, for most of her life, she spent her time sweating and accidentally burning herself on the metal parts of seat belts.

When she discovered the theatre in high school, it was love at first sight. Admittedly, a not inconsequential part of it had to do with air conditioning. But, after performing in her first youth theatre production of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, she then was like, “oh ok.” Instead of going to homecoming that year, she ran the board for that theater’s production of Annie Jr. The rest was history.

Called a “force of nature” by Gil Benbrook of Talkin’ Broadway, Josie trained at NYU Tisch School of the Arts through Atlantic Acting School and was selected in 2023 to continue her Shakespeare studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

While earning her degree, Josie got involved in Pasadena Golf Club, her former improv troupe, and continues to perform improv and stand-up at UCB and other clubs across the city. Recent credits include International Party Girl at Brooklyn Art Haus, Cracked! at Teatro LATEA and He Hates Me! at The Tank. She has also contributed to Broadway and Off-Broadway productions including: Little Shop of Horrors (Westside Theatre), Ghost of John McCain (SoHo Playhouse), Just in Time (Circle in the Square), and Call Me Izzy (Studio 54).
